A SITE SPECIFIC TYPE | TYPE DESIGN | PHOTOGRAPHY | EDITORIAL DESIGN
Experimental type project derived from a concept of combining analogue and digital mediums.
The aim was to obtain letterforms and typographic symbols directly from the Barbican’s built environment. The typeface was created by projection and tracing, taking advantage of the highly geometrical and textured nature of this Brutalist gem.
The letterforms were collected into a publication alongside the original photographs.
